Splash Lagoon's 84-degree tropical Polynesian atmosphere is ranked one of the Top 10 Water Park Resorts in the country by numerous industry trade magazines. Opened in March 2003, more than three million guests have enjoyed Splash Lagoon, which includes nine water slides, pools, hot tubs, a 12-level interactive Tree House, a Tree Tops Ropes Course, 6,500 square foot Arcade with over 100 games, a state-of-the-art Lazer Tag facility, an Aqua Tumbler and Wild Waters Wave Pool. Guests can enjoy splashing around in the 200,000-gallon Wave Pool, which is the largest indoor wave pool in the eastern United States. The indoor water park brings in over 300,000 visitors annually. Also connected to the Resort are three luxury hotels, The Holiday Inn Express, The Residence Inn and The Comfort Inn & Suites, as well as Hooch & Blotto's Sports Bar & Grill.
The Water Park has two main dining options for guests: Hooch and Blotto’s Sports Bar and The Laguna Grill. Guests can also pick up memorabilia from The Surf Shop during their stay. Splash Lagoon features the Palms Room room that offers over 3,000 square-feet of space for private parties, corporate meetings and birthday parties.
The water park has expanded three times. In 2005, the resort added two water slides, The Python Plunge and The Shark Attack as well as Boston's Restaurant & Sports Bar. In 2011 came The Tree Tops Ropes Course and The Wild Waters Wave Pool. The Tree Tops Ropes course is a dry attraction where guests can climb three stories high over the water park by walking the tight rope, balancing on rickety bridges or braving the balance beams. The Wild Waters Indoor Wave Pool has proven to be the biggest and best water attraction in the water park's history. It is the largest indoor wave pool in the eastern United States. In 2013, the water park introduced The Aqua Tumbler, a ride that has guests head over heels, sending them in circles as it catapults into an endless looping inversion!
In 2013, Splash Lagoon celebrated its 10 Year Anniversary.
In December of 2014, Boston's Restaurant and Sports Bar, attached to Splash Lagoon, was transformed into Hooch & Blotto's Sports Bar & Grill.
