Splash Lagoon Indoor Waterpark will open a new attraction for the park’s youngest guests on Friday, December 22, 2017. The new tree house will add three new slides and a dumping bucket to the park’s popular children’s area, Monkey Shines Island.
The expansion to Monkey Shines Island will entertain many young children by doubling the number of slides available in Monkey Shines Island. Younger children can now enjoy a total of seven slides in the shallow pools of Monkey Shines Island.
“We are always thinking of ways to enhance our guests’ experiences,” said Nick Scott Jr., Vice President of Scott Enterprises. “The new play area allows us to ensure that every guest, no matter how young, has a great time at Splash Lagoon!”
Atop the attraction is a new 250-gallon dumping bucket that will cascade water over the structure, similar to the larger Tiki Bucket at the Waterpark’s Tiki Treehouse, which has been a popular feature with guests for years.
The new kids tree house at Monkey Shines Island will provide hours of fun and excitement specifically designed for younger guests & expands the number of attractions for the children to enjoy, providing an unforgettable experience.
“The addition of the new kids tree house in Monkey Shines Island represents our continued commitment to investing and improving the Water Park,” said Chris N. Scott, Vice President of Scott Enterprises. “We look forward to unveiling more attractions to Splash Lagoon in 2018!”
