SPLASH LAGOON TO HOST HERO EQUIPMENT DAY
Erie, PA (June 12, 2018)|– Splash Lagoon Indoor Water Park Resort will host Hero Equipment Day, an event for guests to meet real-life heroes and learn about safety, in the park on Saturday, June 16 at 3:00 pm.
Guests can explore a firetruck, ambulance, rescue vehicle and more from local fire and police departments. The US Army Recruitment Center will also be in attendance. The heroes will be at the park to meet guests and help them learn about safety. Guests will have the opportunity to meet and take photos with a superhero during the event.
Hero Equipment Day is part of Splash Lagoon’s Hero Month which honors heroes throughout the entire month of June. All month long, active duty and retired military personnel, law enforcement, doctors, nurses, EMT/EMS and firefighters receive a special discount at the park. With a qualifying ID, heroes receive full day admission to Splash Lagoon for $24.95 per person for the hero and up to three guests.
