Description

SUMMARY

 

The Guest ServicesSupervisor has the knowledge of principles and processes for providing guestand personal service.  This includesguests’ needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services and evaluationof customer satisfaction.  Superviseguest services staff which includes front desk, parties/activities and salesoffice.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIESAND RESPONSIBILITIES whichmay include, but are not limited to, the following tasks:

 

  1. Mustbe able to perform the duties of a Front Desk Attendant, Cash ControlAttendant, Parties/Activities Attendant and Sales Coordinator.
  2. Supervisedaily labor of guest services staff including parties/activities, front deskassociates; including making sure that all check lists are complete.
  3. Completethe weekly schedule for guest services staff, ensure the correct amount ofpeople are scheduled to handle the amount of people in the park.
  4. Inspectserving, parties, and activities area to ensure cleanliness and proper set up.
  5. Speakwith patrons to ensure satisfaction with food and service as well as respond tocomplaints.
  6. Maintaincontact with kitchen staff, management, guest services, and customers to ensurethat party details are handled properly and customers concerns are addressed.
  7. Informpatrons of establishment amenities and features.
  8. OperatePOS system.
  9. Assistguest services staff members to increase guest satisfactions whenevernecessary, included but not limited to assisting with party check-ins, servingparties, paperwork, balloon requests, front desk and cash control.

10. Ensurethat proper party preparation is taken care of, including but not limited topaperwork, cake pulling, coupons and party set up.

11.   Book Splash birthday parties, lazer tagbirthday parties, lazer tag sessions, guaranteed passes, and small groups.

12.   Other tasks as assigned including but notlimited to; Thank you letters, filing, final count calls, mailing   contracts and making packets, returning voicemails.

13.  Must be able to operate a personal computerand related software systems.

14.  Must have a diplomatic demeanor and maintainan unbiased view of guest relations.

15.  Supervises, coordinates, and implements allaspects of Guest Services by performing the following:

  1. Monitordaily operations of guest services staff in the above departments.
  2. Coordinateand implement policies and procedures that are consistent with publicizedinformation.
  3. Communicatepolicy changes to staff members.
  4. Ensuringall guest services staff follow Splash Lagoon Policies and Procedures;

ADDITIONALRESPONSIBLITIES

 

  1. Maintaining a high level of customer service (Aloha Spirit).
  2. Administrative office work including contracts, receipt of payment, filing and reporting.

 

EDUCATION and/orEXPERIENCE

 

  1. Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent.
  1. 1-2 yearssupervisory experience.

  1. Must work inenvironmental conditions that include, but not limited to:
    1. Wet and humidenvironments.
    2. Indoor environmentalconditions with up to 90% humidity and temperatures ranging from 70F to 120F.
    3. Possible exposureto chemicals, fumes, dirt, caustic chemicals, acids, odors, waste, and dust.
    4. Business attire and possible uniformed insome instances.
