Only guests wearing proper swimming attire may ride the slides. Cut off jeans, swimming suits with buckles, rivets, or sharp objects are not permitted. Shoes and sandals are not permitted on the slides. Water shoes, and other soft soled, non-abrasive footwear are not allowed on any slide. Coast Guard Approved Life Vests are available at the front desk. Vests are permitted on tube slides only and are prohibited on all body slides. Guests must quickly exit any slide run out or splash pool. Chain riding or lap riding is strictly prohibited on all attractions. It is strongly recommended that pregnant women, guests with heart conditions, neck problems or back problems do not ride. Guests under the influence of drugs or alcohol are not permitted to ride.

Mandatory Bag Check 

As of August 5th 2024 Splash Lagoon Will Be Performing Mandatory Bag Checks 

To ensure the safety and protection of all guests there will be a mandatory search on all bag types, strollers, and coolers Splash Lagoon will not hold or store any prohibited items.

Prohibited Items include: Illegal substances or drug paraphernalia, weapons, explosives, or restraining devices, outside food or beverages, coolers or crockpots, outside alcohol, glass containers, outside pool toys, pets, balloons or confetti, and recreational devices, or any item that is deemed inappropriate by Splash Lagoon. Ride Guidelines

Big Kahuna:

Used with single or double tubes. With a double tube, heavier rider must ride in the rear seat. Guests between 40” and 48” must be accompanied by an adult riding in a double tube with the adult in the rear of the tube. Single tube weight must not exceed 250 lbs. Double tube riders may not exceed 400 lbs combined.

Black Hole:

A single rider, body slide. Guests must ride with legs crossed at the ankles and hands clasped behind the head.The minimum height requirement for the Black Hole is 36″ tall. All riders must be capable of entering and exiting the slide under their own power. Only ONE person may slide at a time.

Cyclone:

Used with single or double tubes. With a double tube, heavier rider must ride in the rear seat. Guests between 40” and 48” must be accompanied by an adult riding in a double tube with the adult in the rear of the tube. Single tube weight may not exceed 250 lbs. Double tube riders may not exceed 400 lbs combined.

Hurricane Hole:

A single rider, body slide. All guests must ride with legs crossed at the ankles and hands clasped behind the head. Height requirement is 48″ tall. This slide is recommended for strong swimmers only and ends in a pool with six and a half feet water depth.

Maui Wowie:

A single rider, body slide. Guests must ride with legs crossed at the ankles and hands clasped behind the head. The minimum heigh requirement for Maui Wowie is 36″ tall. All riders must be capable of entering and exiting the slide under their own power. Only ONE person may slide at a time

Monkey Shines Island New Children’s Tree House:

The new play area added three slides to Monkey Shines Island, doubling the amount of slides in the area to seven. The orange, blue and green slides have a maximum height restriction of 48″ tall. The purple slide does permit guests over 48″ tall to ride this slide. Parents may also take their child down this slide on their lap.

FAQ

Some of the common questions we answer for our guests

Does the resort accept cash?

As of July 1st, 2024, we are now a cashless resort. We still accept credit, debit, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. If you bring cash to the resort, you can put that money on a Splash Lagoon gift card at the water park front desk.

Is there a bar at Splash Lagoon?

Yes, guests can visit the Island Oasis Tiki Bar located adjacent to the arcade and The Surf Bar located adjacent to the FlowRider. You will be asked to present your identification at both The Tiki Bar and The Surf Bar. We ID every guest for each drink.

Is re-entry allowed with a wristband on?

Once guests have entered Splash Lagoon, they may re-enter as long as they keep their wristband for that day on. Wristbands must be worn at all times while in the water park. They are non-transferable and not for resale. Wristbands are only valid for the day they are purchased. If your wristband breaks, return it to the front desk for a replacement. If you lose your wristband, there will be a replacement fee.

Is Splash Lagoon smoke free?

In accordance with PA state law, Splash Lagoon is a smoke-free facility.

Is there a charge for tubes?

All tubes are free of charge. Tubes are required on the following attractions: Cyclone, Python Plunge, Big Kahuna, and Lazy River.

Are t-shirts allowed to be worn?

T-shirts may be worn, but may not be permitted on certain attractions. Proper swim wear is required in Splash Lagoon.

Are there any supervision requirements?

Children under the age of fourteen are required to be accompanied by a responsible adult.

What is Splash Cash?

Splash Cash is the perfect way to enjoy the park without worrying about your cash and credit cards in the park. Splash Cash is a reloadable card that can be used to purchase anything from food and arcade games to admission to the park. Splash Cash Cards are free and can be loaded with any dollar value you wish. Splash Cash is non-refundable, but never expires.

Is there a fee for parking?

There is free parking for all Splash Lagoon guests.

Where are lifeguards posted at Splash Lagoon?

Lifeguards are stationed throughout the park to maximize your safety. All of our lifeguards have gone through more than 24 hours of training in order to attain their Jeff Ellis and Associates License – a premiere service used by 96% of water parks in the world.

Is outside food permitted in the park?

No outside food is permitted inside the water park.

Can I bring a cooler / outside beverages? What about Medications?

Coolers are not permitted within the doors of Splash Lagoon unless accompanied by written consent from a doctor for food allergies, medications, or baby food. Non-alcoholic can be purchased at the Laguna Grill and alcoholic beverages can be purchased at the Surf Bar. Bottled, non-alcoholic beverages can also be purchased at the Surf Shop. No food or beverages may be brought into the park via coolers or otherwise.

Can I come with a cast on?

Guests wearing a cast are permitted to use a single tube on a single tube slide, but not permitted on body slides or double tubes.

How Can I Rent A Locker At Splash Lagoon?

Locker rentals are now key-free at Splash Lagoon! Lockers are located in various locations throughout the water park and inside changing rooms. Lockers can be rented from kiosks throughout the park, or directly online HERE.

 

Are there changing rooms?

Men’s, Women’s, and Family changing rooms are available on the aquatic floor, directly below guest services.

Is there an ATM on-site at Splash Lagoon?

Yes, there is an ATM available for use in the lobby of Splash Lagoon, next to the guest services desk.

What dining options are available inside Splash Lagoon?

Splash Lagoon offers two dining options, all under one roof! The Laguna Grill is available to serve your poolside dining needs, including favorites such as pizza, burgers, and salads. Attached to the water park is Quaker Steak & Lube, which features burgers, wings, brews, and bowling!

Do I need to bring a flotation device and/or life jacket?

Life jackets are available inside the water park, free of charge. The only flotation devices we allow from outside of the park are coast guard approved life jackets – this includes puddle jumpers that are coast guard approved. Life jackets may not be worn down body slides and guests who require a personal flotation device are recommended to not ride the Hurricane Hole.

Does Splash Lagoon provide towels?

Splash Lagoon does not provide complimentary pool towels. All guests are encouraged to bring in their own towels. Souvenir beach towels may be purchased in the Surf Shop.

What does the Resort Fee cover?

The Resort Fee is $24.99 per room per night and includes Reservation Fee, Life Jackets, Parking, Hotel Internet Access, Local Calls, Business Center and Faxes, and Wireless Internet Access inside of Splash Lagoon.
